Neilson offers a range of award-winning overseas active holidays across seven countries, including beach clubs, ski chalets and yachts. There aren't many companies where 7 out of 10 of our guests return to relive the experience again, and again. Mind you, there aren't many holiday companies like Neilson. In part it's because we're in some of Europe's most beautiful locations - across Greece, Sardinia, Croatia and Turkey - and now Mauritius. All our activities are inclusive, likewise the delicious, locally sourced food. And in part it's because of how a Neilson holiday makes you feel. Our holidays are a unique alchemy; the enthusiasm of amazing guests and the dedication of equally amazing staff; a willingness to give it a go now and have a laugh about it later. We call it good energy and you'll feel it the moment you walk into any of our resorts.

Great location near the lifts

La Toviere is a great location for the lifts and for skiing the vast areas of Val d'Isere or Tignes. The hotel is really well run and the two evenings of entertainment during the week were fun, inclusive and very social. Good choice of food , imaginative and well cooked. La Daille is quiet with no nightlife but ideal for keen skiers

The website is easy to use

The website is easy to use.
I liked that I was sent basically a provisional booking with a reference number as I had a query I wanted to speak to someone. She was friendly and helpful and as she’d been to Alana Beach was able answer my question from her own experiences

Such a professional outfit

Such a professional outfit, with all the staff having knowledge of practically everything to do with your individual holiday. This is our second holiday in 2 years and it won't be our last.

Booking process was OK.

Booking process was OK.
I would've preferred to stay at another resort but there was insufficient flexibility on length of stay at my first choice.
I would've liked more information before booking, but staff training was occuring for about a week, so no one to speak to and only 2 rooms were left.

I tired several time to book the…

I tired several time to book the holiday but I could never get through during my lunch break. When I tried to book online it don’t give me an option to have any extras. I booked online without the extras and then called a few weeks later. I also emailed to ask about the extras. Then when I managed to get through all of the extra tows for water skiing had gone.

We have been on 5 Neilson active…

We have been on 5 Neilson active holidays. We have recently booked Sicily in June 2026. However, as we wanted to speak to the booking office before we booked, we tried and apparently your offices were closed for 4 days of training. You can't do that. Of course your can train your staff; but as a serious holiday company , you can't close your business for 4 days. If the banks did this your own finances would be in a mess. So we can only give the booking process this time, 3 stars. We did do it online but we could get the advice we wanted.
This comment is from an experienced Neilson Customer. We have recently returned from Neilson Val Disere which was very good. We have stayed at the Savoire for the last 6 years when it was run by Inghams. Best wishes in difficult times!
