The booking process helped us to learn what might be needed and what was best for our mum's care as John talked us through the options and what he deemed was initially needed. John showed his experience and care with how he handled our situation in a calm and productive manner and checked in with us throughout the process. We really got to see why the rating for this organisation is outstanding with all they put in place, with the transparency and also with taking the extra weight off the shoulders of the family so that micromanagement from family members isnt needed meaning you can have more meaningful relationships with your loved ones. Excellent care provided. Friendly and considerate carers go the extra mile and the organisation is set up very well. Good communication with us and carers very alert to anything we need to know about.
Quite expensive but worth it for the good service.

I really enjoy working for Bluebird Home Care. The company offers flexible working hours, which is especially helpful for employees with children or family commitments. It makes it much easier to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
The management and supervisors are very understanding, supportive, and always willing to help. They genuinely care about their staff and create a positive and friendly working environment.

Working for this company has been absolutely shocking and a complete let down of what I was expecting. I didn't even last a year before I started to feel like I was being pushed to quit my role. Being called in for things that are irrelevant constantly and for other people's mistakes, not dealing with any concerns raised properly, taking hours off me when I've asked for more, belittling me and making me feel like my presence in this company wasn't important. I never felt like I was taken seriously by majority of the staff in the office and when concerns were raised it was pushed to one side and forgotten about. One member of staff said that if anyone felt overwhelmed and needed to talk they could so I finally spoke up about how I felt and how the company was making me feel and I felt like I was being laughed at rather than being spoken to and discussing how I was feeling. Upon quitting my role i made sure that these concerns were mentioned again about how the company made me feel and yet again this was completely ignored. This company is a disgrace to work for and doesn't care about their staff whatsoever!

We liked all the carers who came promptly and were most supportive to my husband, therefore giving me the confidence to leave my him. We do not need carers any longer, but they certainly helped my husband to get back on his feet after his operation. We will miss their kind attention. However, we know that help is available should we ever need it again. We would not hesitate to recommend Bluebird Care to anyone requiring assistance.

All the staff are always very helpful and friendly nothing is ever too much trouble.
They spend time chatting with me as well as efficiently tending to all my needs .
Emily has been visiting me from the very start . She is always happy and friendly helping me in my home and we always have a friendly chat .

My Mum is 91 and lives alone in a bungalow. After trying a few options, she found Bluebird care to come and visit twice a week to help with shopping and to make her laugh. This increased to include cleaning, bed changing and transport to and from her most favourite activities. They took her out for coffee, went shopping, put lunch ready, checked on meals and were awesome at jigsaws! My mum was taken ill, the carer spotted it early and then the whole team helped both my mum and me to cope with the rapid changes to needs. They are the most amazing team. I cannot recommend the Bluebirds highly enough for every possible care need.

The day cares were good but Jacqui Harris has been an amazing live in carer for Colette. She has been gentle , gracious and very knowledgeable As Colette has become frailer and close to end of life. Jacqui visited Colette every day in hospital until her planned holiday, taking clothes and items she needed to East Surrey. Colette has been very grateful for her care and companionship over the last few months. Well done Jacqui!

Great company to work for. The team is welcoming, training is thorough, and management listens. There’s room to grow and the work feels rewarding. A few processes could be faster, but overall it’s a solid place to build your career.
Very many thanks to the Caton, Lancaster team who organised a 10-day respite care package for my mum. From initial query to the final handover, everything went smoothly and was handled very professionally. A last minute change of plan was accommodated within a couple of hours and we were very happy with all the carers. I would recommend Bluebird care without hesitation. Mum felt well looked after and safe. Her meds were administered perfectly, meals were healthy, and the house kept clean. Nice work Bluebird !

With the fantastic training and support I've received from the mangers and my wonderful colleagues, I've been able to grow in confidence, my knowledge, and pick up so many useful tips and tricks along the way.
The mangers and colleagues here are some of the kindest and most supportive people I've ever met. I genuinely look forward to each day- spending time with the lovely clients and building meaningful relationships with them.

We cannot thank Bluebird enough for sending us Naomi Omaye as a live-in carer for my mother, who was sadly approaching the end of her life and wanted to remain at home. Naomi worked with us brilliantly for 4 weeks, nothing was too much trouble and her experience was very reassuring. She enabled mum to stay at home with dignity. and was kind, capable and compassionate. I would highly recommend Naomi and Bluebird Care. Thank you.

I recently started using Bluebird Care's living service for my family friend, Helena, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care provided.
From the beginning, Amy, the carer, has been absolutely wonderful. She genuinely treats Helena as if she were her own family, and nothing seems too much trouble for her. It’s comforting to know that when we’re not around, Helena is in such capable and caring hands.
Amy has now taken some time off, and her replacement, Blessing, is settling in beautifully as well. Helena is always happy to see us, and it’s clear that she’s well cared for—she’s dressed, washed, and the house is kept tidy.
I can't praise Bluebird Care enough for their excellent service. It’s reassuring to see such dedication and compassion in their staff. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable care service.
