Since 2004, Bluebird Care has been here to keep loved ones where they feel safest: at home. We started as a family business, and today we’re honoured to be a trusted partner in home care for families across the UK through our network of over 200 local teams.
Our purpose is simple yet profound: we’re here to enrich the lives of those we care for—helping them stay independent, maintain dignity, and enjoy the everyday comforts of home. Our team of compassionate professionals is dedicated to making this possible, day in and day out.
At Bluebird Care, we know how hard it can be to balance care with life’s many demands. We understand the emotional weight that comes with aging, illness, or disability, and we’re here to provide support that feels not just capable, but caring.
We offer a wide range of services, from personal care and companionship to dementia support and end-of-life care—always tailored to the unique needs and wishes of each person we care for. And we’re here for families, too, helping lift the responsibility from your shoulders so you can focus on being the son or daughter, rather than the caregiver.
Bluebird Care stands out because we genuinely listen. We make sure that every service is crafted around the people we serve. With us, you can trust that your loved ones are in gentle, reliable hands, so you can have peace of mind and they can have the comfort of home.

I can highly recommend Bluebird Care. They really listen to their clients and provide excellent care. They are very sensitive to the needs of the people they care for. My husband did not feel he needed someone to be with him while I was out and therefore was a little reluctant to accept someone coming at first. He now looks forward to his chats with these ‘interesting young men who visit him’. I can now relax when I leave him knowing that he is safe and happy. Thank you Bluebird Care.

Bluebird have been a lifeline for us in a very rough time . Kind, knowledgable and professional staff they truly understand what is needed and work hard to make it happen. Staff are very professional and supportive not just of the person in their care but also the carer or parent. Cannot recommend Bluebird care enough they’ve made such a difference to us and we are so grateful

Donna Young is absolutely incredible. I've had various emails and conversations with her back and forth to so my grandfather's care out as he was discharged from hospital. I cannot thank this lady enough. She has been amazing and thanks to her my granddad's care will get taken over by this lovely company on the 16th of March, I just wanted to say thank you so much to Donna Young and the team for making this so much nicer for my Grandad and the family xxxx
The Recruitment Manager and the office staff members are down to earth.
Excellent and refreshing way of doing their trainings.

These people DON'T phone back. I've called twice regarding my elderly parents and each time they've said they'll call back and they don't! I'm appalled at the lack of professionalism. Don't touch with a barge pole.
We have been with Amanda and her team for a long time, and I honestly cannot fault the care my nan has received.
Private care is expensive, but you truly get what you pay for. The girls have always been kind, professional, and most importantly, they made my nan feel safe, secure and genuinely cared for. That peace of mind as a family member is priceless.
Sadly, as her needs have increased, we’ve had to move to a more affordable provider. It wasn’t a decision made lightly, and I don’t believe we’ll find anyone quite like Amanda’s team.
Thank you for everything you’ve done, you made a real difference to her quality of life.
I cannot thank this incredible team enough for the care and dedication they have shown to my dad. From the very beginning, the carers supported him with his day-to-day needs, helping with washing and personal care several times a week. They carried out every visit with genuine kindness, professionalism, and remarkable attention to detail.
What has impressed me most is the consistency and compassion shown by the entire team. They always treated my dad with dignity and respect, ensuring he felt comfortable and supported at all times.
A very special thank you to Anke for her exceptional help and guidance. Her advice, reassurance, and commitment played such an important role in making sure my dad’s wish to return to his own home became a reality. That meant more to us than words can express.
We are truly grateful for the continued support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this wonderful team to anyone looking for high-quality, compassionate care.
Thank you again for everything.
Brian.

My husband needs a day and night time live in carer. A Bluebird representative quickly organised a colleague to put together a flat pack bed to accommodate the night time carer. Nothing was too much trouble. Great service.

I work as a care expert for Bluebird Care Stafford, providing person-centred support to individuals in their own homes. My role includes personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation and companionship. I feel the company promotes dignity, respect and independence, which are important values in care. The training and ongoing support help me feel confident in my role, and communication with the office team is supportive when concerns are raised. Although the role can be challenging at times, especially with travel and emotional situations, I feel valued and proud to support individuals to remain safe and independent in their own homes.

Highly recommend the Ely, Fenland Bluebird. The entire team was incredibly helpful and meant Mum could remain at home until she was unable. We have used them in the past for Dad. Can't thank them enough for everything they did. They even organised her medication, taking on all sorts of tasks so she could remain independent.

So far so good although we have had different carers almost every day. They have all been delightful people and care for my husband really well making him laugh and socialise so we do not mind different carers as it helps my husband with communication. Sometime the rota has no one available but somebody usual turns up. We do get a phone call on the day to say if someone is late or we do not have anyone allocated- once in 5 weeks. Sometimes response from Bluebird organisation is not that prompt but still early days. On the whole I would recommend Bluebird.

I have been working with Bluebird since last july and i enjoy it as much now as when i started . Its nice to work for a company that actually support the employees and make you feel appreciated something i feel is very rare nowadays. They offer chances to learn more along the way with online and face to face training courses . I would recomend Bluebird care for anybody looking for a career change . I believe it to be a very rewarding job and the chance to learn and progress as you go along.

We were extremely reticent about getting care for my elderly father, who has dementia as, as a family, we preferred to manage ourselves. However we got to a point a couple of years ago when it became too much for us. We were recommended BlueBird Care and thankfully we took up this recommendation. Every single member of staff at Bluebird …… and after 2 years we have met quite a few, are absolutely lovely. The admin staff in the office are fabulous, they always have time for you and help out however they can. However it is the actual carers who are the ‘stars of the show’! We are a family of 5 (dad, mum and 3 daughters) but now we are a much larger family as the carers that we have for Dad are considered part of our family and this is due to their lovely natures’ and their willingness to help our Dad and therefore our family. Thank you Bluebird Care.

The Bluebird staff have been great with my mother who has been struggling with dementia and mobility issues. Always friendly, efficient, caring and helpful during a challenging period for my family. Highly recommended.

When mum started to need extra help at home Lisa came to assess her needs, she was kind and friendly, was very thorough and reassuring, making detailed notes for the carers so both they and mum knew what was expected - they tried to keep the same carers and mum developed a lovely relationship with them, always smiling and encouraging her when things got tougher as her illness progressed. If they had any concerns they would call me and have a chat to solve any issues. I am very grateful for the excellent care they gave, and I know mum looked forward to seeing them each day
