On entering wickes on Sunday morning, I asked if they could remove the padlock to buy a 4ft x 6ft fence panel.
I was told at the counter by the customer service till I had to manoeuvre it myself as they don't unlock the padlock.
Being slightly disabled due to an operation I found it very hard to remove the panel.
And the customer service disappointing.
If all your staff are like this you should be ashamed to call them staff and retrain them.
I,m glad all people at hedge end store are not like that.

A really refreshing experience thanks to the friendliness and knowledge of Jim (Maidstone). I find DIY places a bit intimidating as a woman, but Jim’s friendliness made any nerves ebb away quickly. He was jovial, relaxed, friendly and shared his extensive background in paint, offering that we could draw upon it if we ever needed guidance.
Customer purchases can be so impersonal and sterile, but Jim went way beyond a transaction and delivered exceptional service which is long forgotten in modern society. Thank you Jim.

You ask me what went wrong. Everything! I told you and you ignored my comments. The product was not as describes on your website. I contacted you to complain, you did not respond. I contacted you again, you did not acknowledge the previous contact. Rubbish product, rubbish service!

I bought a 9litre tub of Wickes shed and fence paint , to say it is not fit for purpose, would be a compliment,
on new wood i had to put four coats of the stuff to get any kind of result, you would do better with a bottle of
cordial. there own brand fence paint is useless, taking peoples money under false pretences , come on wickes
you can do better

We were kept informed at every stage, including delivery schedules, installation progress, rubbish clearance, and aftercare support. The communication was excellent throughout, giving us complete confidence in the process.

The finished bathroom looks fantastic, and we are delighted with the result.

My husband and I went today to the Wickes branch in Maidstone, Kent. The store was clean, neat and nicely cool for a hot day. We found everything we needed and Jim was extra specially helpful, really went above and beyond for us. We're very grateful for his help. Jim is a real credit to the branch and to the wider company

We made an appointment to have our bathroom designed with Antony at the Southport branch. Although we had some ideas of what we wanted for our bathroom, we wanted someone to suggest ideas to maximise our space within our budget, especially as this was our first bathroom renovation! Before our appointment Antony looked at our measurements and prepared a floorplan before our arrival. Antony listened to everything we wanted, made fantastic suggestions and put together a very comprehensive design for us. He was welcoming to us, polite, professional and came across as genuinely passionate for his job. We also liked how Antony didn't pressure us into making our decisions - he made it clear he was there if we had any questions, yet did not hassle us for our decision! Overall, a very pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to recommend him.

Jim was great. Helpful and friendly, sorted everything we needed.

I have done 2 reviews this week about shabbily constructed Forest Garden fence panels - i was expecting more interest for you. Your reply was -

I am not a retail expert but what does 'we will share with our team' mean - nothing really. What about if you check the delivery goods before you dispatch them? What about bringing the poor panels to the attention of Forest Garden. You are good at responding but try to move on from Cut and Paste answers

Kerry explained everything in simple terms so we understood the process was very professional left all the decisions to us made all the changes we asked for showed us how it would look and I would highly recommend her very good at her job

Jade was very helpful. Didn't waste our time. She quickly organised what we needed with zero fuss. What was appreciated was how simply she dealt with the replacement of damaged parts that were delivered to us. Many thanks.

The kitchen design and service received by the kitchen designer Lee Miller was excellent.

The installation of the kitchen was very good too. The finished kitchen is to a very high standard.

There were a few delays in getting the kitchen completly finished, which is why this is a 4* and not a 5* rating.
Firstly due to delay within Wicks for delivering 2 items, that needed replacing as the originals were damaged, arriving after the installers finish date. Fortunately, they were able to come back 2 weeks later to fit them.
Secondly, it took nearly 2 months to resolve the installation of the extractor issue.

However I would recommend Wicks kitchens to friends and family as we are very happy with the final result.

Customer Services were brilliant and took time to help me find what I needed.

At the till Jim (Maidstone Store) was friendly and showed that my custom was valued.

Great experience for a few drill bits, buckets and impact driver attachments, so much better selection than B&Q.

Went into Wickes today with my brother and a lovely lady, Katherine, helped us with our questions. Instead of us wandering around trying to find what we wanted she guided us to the areas that were relevant. Both Katherine and other members of staff were really helpful and knowledgeable - many thanks:)

We met shashi and pinny today, they helped us set up a Wickes account and were very helpful with information

As soon as i met Beth Pender my kitchen planner i knew i was in the best hands i would possibly need.

I knew what i wanted and Beth came and measured my old kitchen to see what units i would need. A week later i visted her in store and there it was all done showing me what i had in my head and now on a plan.

Just had to choose kitchen equipment and that was it all done.

Waiting now for the installer to come and look and for some building work and should be done soon.
