The taxi was meant to be private for me…
The taxi was meant to be private for me and my three daughters. One of whom is autistic. I paid 130 pounds. When we got to it there was another couple in the same taxi. They were being dropped first which caused a significant delay in us getting to our accommodation, after midnight. The driver’s response was ‘I am just the driver, take it up with the company’. We will be seeking a full refund and looking for a local firm to take us back to the airport.
The other couple are complaining too. They also paid 130 pounds for a private transfer.

Excellent driver
Excellent driver. Arrived on time very polite and great journey back to the airport.
Overall poor quality
The company was called The Car Ride, can’t find them anywhere! But have a contact number which no one answers whether that’s phone calls or WhatsApp messages
Driver was late by half an hour! Updated the company as soon s we landed, and collected luggage! They stated would be any minute when we arrived
Then updated them with with column we was waiting at and waited there for nearly half an hour
Drive then continuously was all over the place whilst driving due to using his phone non stop, whether he was texting or sending voice notes.
Rude overall would never use again

Didn't turn up, made excuses, lied, calles us liars!!
Driver stated going to be 25 minutes late. Made excuse about traffic then said plane was early which it wasn't. Due to be picked up at 16.10, he was not there. I have screen grabs showing how rude he was and his colleague was.
Been called a liar. Stated plane 25 mins early when on time!! Just didn't want to come. Booked via Holiday extras who just ignored complaint, but will not be able too going forward as evidence clear. Sceeen grabs show they are lying and just did not bother to turn up. Told to cancel return journey on Sunday which they would not. So Holiday extras by proxy is supporting a company that is calling customers liars. How sad, keep away from these and Holiday extras. Used several times yet they just don't care now.

Excellent Service
Both journeys were great and efficient but the journey from hotel to the airport was exceptional. The driver was very friendly, kind and had lot’s of knowledge regarding landmarks etc. We will be returning to Dubai at some point and will definitely use this service again
Awful experience
The vehicle sent for our return transfer was not big enough to accommodate our group plus luggage. We sat crammed in the back with suitcases jammed between our legs and no room to move. The whole return experience was awful and at one point the driver was using his mobile phone while driving, highly dangerous.

No infant car seat provided even though paid extra for
We arrived at the airport quite late at night and I paid extra for meet and greet and for an infant car seat. The driver wasn’t there when we arrived and asked us to come outside to a bus stop. He was quite rude. We walked passed a whole queue of waiting taxis which would have been quicker and cheaper to take. To top it all off there was no infant seat but just a booster seat without five point harness or head protection. I won’t use this service again.

Our driver was a friendly and helpful gentleman. He negotiated the journey with efficiency and was really professional. He brought his vehicle closer to the airport exit, as I have a disability and was unable to walk any further after all the corridors in the airport.

We booked a taxi to take us from Seychelles international airport to our hotel on the island of Mahe and we were very impressed with the service of Trevor's taxis. We were kept informed by whatsapp all the way through and our driver was so friendly and helpful, the cars on bothe the outward and return journeys were really good as well.
Had a text for the taxi pickup
Had a text for the taxi pickup, waited but no one came, after 20 minutes went to hotel reception who rang the company to be told ‘the driver made a mistake’!!!!!!!!! They would send a replacement in 2 minutes, 10 minutes later a taxi arrived, not good service, stressful, will not be using these again !!!!!!

Wouldn't use again
Were the drivers courteous? Yes. Would I use the again? No. We booked through Expedia directly for a Meet and Greet in the airport and a private mini bus, we didn't get either. They sent pick up location clear as day in an email when in which they didn't send the driver to, but an alternate location so we had to call asking where the driver was and wait for him to arrive at the correct location. It definitely wasn't a minibus we were picked up in either. When travelling with the elderly and a cane, this wasn't ideal at all. Expedia tried reaching out the company and there was no compromising. We even called prior to pick up to confirm all the details and they still didn't deliver. We paid extra for the service and felt we really didn't get it and it's unfortunate that this company is taking advantage of the situation.

AVOID!
EDIT: now they’re commenting on my reviews knowing I can’t technically reply to seem like they care in these public forums. If they actually cared, they’d give me an email/contact info to discuss this serious issue further.
AVOID!! I used this service in the Dominican Republic last month. When I arrived, I couldn't find my driver for the life of me. I looked for him for 30-40 minutes, walking in the heat all around the taxi pick-up area with my luggage like a madwoman. Not only was the driver not communicative in where he was waiting for me but then he was angry at me for not finding him fast enough. It would be great if they could tell you where they usually wait in the confirmation email as I didn't have great cell service with my US phone. That was annoying but my real grudge is with the company, not the drivers.
On my way back to the airport, my driver and I got into a BAD car accident. He was texting. The driver and other employees who came to the scene of the accident were very kind, which is the only reason why I'm giving 2 stars.
But I now have whiplash and Taxi2Airport refuses to talk to me about the accident and they're pretending it didn't happen!! They won't give me any insurance information from the company or even a measly refund for my troubles. It seems seedy and poorly run.
Unrelated info: if you're a girl traveling solo, I'd advise you to say you're meeting up with friends or family to anyone in the DR but especially to strangers whose car you're about to get into.

As my flight was delayed I phoned the driver up and changed my time for pick up with out no hesitation
I am trying to change my pickup…
I am trying to change my pickup location or cancel and it states I can do that up to 24 hours before. I have contacted the dispatch team twice and they keep trying to make come back at a later time so I go past the 24 hours before deadline. No customer service or help for an expensive service, just book a taxi when you arrive. It’s half the price without the hassle I am experiencing.

You state there is a link in an email or text? Completely untrue, I tried to change the booking 48 hours before and was told I had to wait till the next day, contacted you the next morning, to be told I had to wait till the evening, so basically given the runaround, NO-ONE WOULD HELP ME
